About Me
“This Design Studio is born out of my total love for finding beauty in everyday life, in the biggest of things and the smallest of things. Beauty really is the outworking of love and our homes should be the most beautiful of all spaces.” — Rio Summers
After graduating with a degree in Fine Art Rio began her design expression by decorating her own home and producing hand-made pottery accents. A few dinner-parties quickly attracted the interest of her friends and family for her bright and organic aesthetic and unique pottery. It was the constant design advice sought by her friends and Rio's love of creating beauty which led her to start her own interior design studio.
After many late nights of brainstorming and a year-long intensive course in Interior design, Rio Summers decided to take what was a small dream and turn it into something much more.

Specialising in home design and remodelling, Rio Summers Studio enjoys a bright and organic aesthetic and merges textures from nature with a modern simplicity.

We exist to guide and design through floorplanning, lighting design, project managing remodels and contractors, colour and fabric selection, bespoke furniture design as well as finishing touches of furniture and decor selection and staging; we seek to partner in a friendly and accountable way to make the design process your genuine creative expression and a true joy.
