Khamille Tyler

With over 20 years of experience working with clients in the residential, corporate and restaurant/hospitality industries, Khamille possesses a vast and practical outlook.

As a graduate from the Art Institute with her bachelors in Interior Design in 2008, Khamille is a sensible, creative and methodical designer. Known as the "CAD operator" among her interior design network, she enjoys drafting and specializes in furniture space planning as well as interior architecture.

Khamille's favorite design movements are Art Deco, De Stijl and Mid-Century Modern.

Meghan Yang

Meghan Yang has a bachelor's degree in interior design and has had her own interior design business since 2009. Growing up with a father who did commercial construction in the Los Angeles area, she has always been engulfed in the industry.

Meghan's work ranges from residential to small commercial work, with an emphasis on new builds and major renovation. Although her personal design aesthetic is clean contemporary, she loves layering styles and always represents the client's personal taste in their space. She finds inspiration from art, fashion, and traveling.

Over the past five years, she has designed multiple homes selling for upwards of 8 million dollars. Meghan's work on these types of projects has broadened her already vast knowledge of codes, space planning, materials, and full service design.

Helen Morrow

With over twenty years in both large-scale hospitality and corporate projects in Australia and USA, Helen is a highly experienced interior designer with a lifelong passion for design and a unique international perspective. Originally from the United States, she has worked both in Philadelphia, New York City and Sydney, and now lives in the idyllic coastal Northern Beaches, just an hour outside Sydney CBD.

With a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University, Helen’s professional focus has been in the commercial interior design industry, both in workplace and hospitality design, and she has worked with many large well-known clients, casino operators and restaurant owners in bespoke interior projects across the world. She is proficient in best-practice industry design and construction methodologies across numerous CAD and graphic programs.

A natural mentor and teacher with a Certificate in Training and Assessment, she has also taught interior design in certificate, diploma and Bachelor of Design courses in various educational centres and is currently practising design within a large Sydney multi-discipline architectural firm. Helen’s professional commitments extends to promoting diversity and inclusion in the architectural community, actively attending industry events and participating in sustainability initiatives within her firm.

A firm believer in a healthy work and life balance, Helen is an avid surf ski paddler and spends most weekends paddling in Pittwater and off the Northern Beaches, as well as spending social time with close friends and family.

Laura Encinas Ortega

Laura studied architectural technology at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain and completed her degree at Vitus Bering University in Denmark. In 2003, she moved to the UK where she studied interior architecture at Oxford Brookes University.

Laura has worked in international projects located in the UK, Europe, and Asia within the environs of award-winning architectural practices. Laura has experience working on commercial, high-end residential, cultural and educational projects from large-scale master planning to bespoke furniture solutions.

She also developed specialized knowledge in visual merchandising at BAU School of Design in Barcelona, which led her to work in private commissions involving marketing strategy, retail interior and furniture design as well as collaborating with both national and international retail companies.

In 2018, Laura founded Bicbloc; an architectural design studio focused on creating design solutions to reimagine living spaces that are socially and environmentally sustainable.

Robert Parisi

Robert Parisi began to develop his interest and passion for architecture and interior design as a young child.

After successfully completing his bachelor of architecture at The University of Technology, Robert worked for several years in an exceptionally reputable and exclusive firm.

With this experience, Robert joined his family’s successful interiors business specializing in interior fittings and finishes, particularly kitchen and bathroom design.

His designs have been featured in several magazines and publications, such as Trends, Houses, Kitchens and Bathrooms Quarterly and Indesign.

Robert is now taking that invaluable knowledge and adapting it to his own projects today.

Ashley Vancardo

Ashley is the creative behind Homemate, where her services include interior decorating, professional organizing, and freelance assignments.

Nothing excites Ashley more than the process of space planning, interior styling, and making a space live up to its full potential. Helping homeowners make their personal space work for their family and lifestyle is what keeps her motivated.

Ashley is a very proud graduate of The Interior Design Institute. Through our course, she acquired the knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue her dream of being a creative entrepreneur. She also has a great deal of independent real estate staging experience and professional administration from past positions held with one of the top five banks in the world, in the mortgage administration and sales support departments.

In addition to working with clients to improve their lives, she enjoys taking care of her family, playing with her dogs, reading, and exercising. Some of her work has been featured in trade magazines, local publications, and the school prospectus. She also recently became a certified professional organizer, which works hand in hand with interior design.

Sophie Seeger

Sophie Seeger runs Seeger By Design, a creative company for interior design, decorating, property styling, color consulting and art sourcing.

Sophie was immersed in art and design from a very young age, having “caught the bug” from her grandmother, a sculptor, and both art-loving parents.

She studied the history of art, color and design, interior design and journalism. Her career to date has successfully married her passion for art, design and writing.

While running a contemporary art and design gallery, Sophie developed a commission base for her paintings and also discovered her joy for commercial design development, identifying sustainable opportunities and incomes for artists and designers.

This led to two Indigenous rug and textile ranges with licensed deals for clients, including DFAT, Qantas and public libraries. Sophie has a licensing deal for her own abstract art and has works in private collections throughout Australia, South Africa, the US, UK, Denmark and Singapore.

Sophie has worked as an art and design mentor and a guest curator, and she continues to work on residential and boutique retail interior design projects.

She is a contributor for Houzz and a member of the DIA.

Evette Annandale

Evette Annandale’s love of design was shaped and matured within the walls of the Inscape Education Group where she obtained a bachelor of design. Here, she first learned about insatiable curiosity and what design thinking means in all aspects of life.

Her career saw her become a well rounded interior designer, gaining experience in residential, hospitality, commercial and retail design.

The philosophy of being a creative problem solver enabled her to first become an established freelancer and eventually ensured that Annandale Design could take flight.

Evette's company specializes in conceptual, retail and office design, taking pride in high level technical details merging effortlessly with art and design. She is always inspired to create spaces of high quality that are authentic and loyal to each client and brief. More recently, Evette launched a connective hub and sourcing platform called Design Central, which people can use to create beautiful homes.

Evette is also a registered professional interior designer and professional architectural draftsperson with her local authorities (IID & SACAP).

Talin Leask

Talin's interior design career started upon graduation from the Academy of Design in Montreal, Canada.

She traveled to Dubai where she worked with large architectural and design practices, working on large hotels, residential projects and retail outlets in newly built shopping malls across the city.

After moving to London, she was able to work for Greenline Interiors, which specialized in yacht interiors, and for large scale royal residents based in the Middle East.

Having founded her own company some years ago, she has managed to build her own clientele and has worked on refurb projects across the city as well as being involved in new build apartment projects in newly developed areas of London. She works closely with clients who have requested her expertise in office layouts, retail units and is currently working on a few commercial projects.

Her attention to detail and working closely with each client is what makes her method unique.

Wendi Snyder

Wendi Snyder started a career in theatre, specializing in costume and set design for student and professional productions at the Alexander Theatre Monash University.

She stayed there for ten years before working with theatre producers, such as Michael Edgley, Kevin Jacobson and Cameron Macintosh.

Her twenty-five year career in theatre took her around the world where she educated herself in architecture and interior design.

She left show business to work with property developers as an interior designer in commercial but mostly residential applications.

Wendi works as a tutor for The Interior Design Institute, is a member of the DIA, runs her own interior design company and consults on predominantly domestic projects, specializing in kitchen, bathrooms and color schemes.

Marieke Rijksen

Qualified as a business analyst and marketer, Marieke first built a successful international career in marketing and business development within the medical industry. Next to her career in marketing, Marieke pursued her life-long interest in beautiful interiors and graduated from IDI in 2013.

Fast forward a few years and numerous home renovations, she built a social media presence and shares her signature style online with a few snippets of daily life. Being an IDI graduate herself, she knows how to professionalise a passion for interior but also what it’s like to combine the course with the usual day-to-day commitments.

Her daily inspiration comes from her family, her home, the world around us, and travelling. She has a wonderful, tolerant surfy husband, a teenage son who loves anything prehistoric, a doggy obsessed tween girl, an eternal desire to shuffle everything around in my home, a passion for vintage, upcycling and DIY and holds both a Dutch and Australian passport. She lives an expat life in her home on the canals of Haarlem, in The Netherlands.
